Life Is (Part 3)

Image result for squirrel chasing another
Life is a squirrel relentlessly pursuing another: across the lawn, up a tree, and back the same way.  Why was the squirrel pursuing the other?  A turf war?  Rape?  Why do so many people choose to bring people and animals into a world that is so brutal?  The sheer amount of violence that occurs in the world in one day, if it could possibly be imagined, let alone measured, is staggering.  Beyond that, there is so much competition, struggle, intimidation, rich getting richer (especially with Trump as president), and poor getting poorer.  There is so much fear and worry.  How will I get by?  I hate my job.  It is so hard to get through the day.  I want to quit everyday.  What am I working for?  So I can barely get by in my miserable life.  Life is shit.

Fuck the Oscars

Image result for fuck the oscars
Since tonight is oscar night, I can't help mentioning that I don't give a fuck.  Awards shows suck.  I haven't voluntarily watched one in years.  I've only seen some, because it's what "friends" were watching (They aren't friends anymore.).  These shows are boring as hell.  The winners get up there and thank a bunch of people.  That's what they all do: boring!
It's beyond me why regular people (People who aren't rich.) would want to watch multi-millionaires get their asses kissed all night long.  Apparently, getting paid all that money for playing pretend isn't enough.  What are they doing?  They memorize lines and repeat them while moving or sitting on their asses.  It's not rocket science.  They even get to do sex scenes and make out with hotties: nice work if you can get it!
I just recently saw Captain Fantastic, which is the movie that Viggo Mortensen is nominated for best actor for.  His performance was nothing special.
The only award I pay any attention to is best picture, because I am a movie fan.  However, not all of the winners are worth seeing.  Forrest Gump and The English Patient sucked, and Crash wasn't very good.
I've mentioned nepotism here before, because I haven't been the beneficiary of any.  A lot of actors have "made it," because they are related to successful actors, directors, etc.  I saw part of a show in which they were showing what some famous actors were doing before they were famous.  They showed Jeff and Beau Bridges acting, as kids, on their father's (Lloyd Bridges) TV show Sea Hunt.  I'm sure they earned those acting jobs, and it had nothing to do with nepotism (sarcasm).

GG Allin

GG Allin
If you don't know who GG Allin is, you should.  He is a hero of mine.  Human society is a joke.  Rich people stay rich.  Poor people clean their mansions and serve them in every other way.  GG Allin was a real rock and roller.  He criticized singers who tried to sound tough when they sang, and he had every right to.  Rock and roll is supposed to be dangerous.  GG Allin never forgot that; he lived it.  I used to work with a young guy who liked punk rock, which is the genre that Allin is mostly associated with.  I told him about Allin, and he wasn't impressed, which surprised and disappointed me.
GG Allin is known for his insane performances.  He might beat himself bloody.  He might start a fistfight with one or more of the audience members.  He was known to poop onstage.  He was known to throw his poop at the audience.  I'm not sure, but he may have even eaten his poop onstage.  Google GG Allin and find out about him.  He was a true original.  I also recommend the documentary Hated, which is about him, and it is great.

Turkey Day

My Thanksgiving wish is that adult hunters will be hunted by a maniac like Danny Rolling.
People call Thanksgiving "turkey day" as though the slaughter of millions of these animals each year for this holiday is something "cute."  What a crock.  Most of the people in this world don't care at all about animals like turkeys, chickens, cows, and pigs.  If you're one of them, you should be ashamed of yourself.
Someone on PBS has a heart.  Yesterday, they aired 3 shows in a row.  The first was about turkeys.  A naturalist received some wild turkey eggs.  He hatched them using an incubator and became their mother.  The little turkeys cuddled with him.  He'd walk through the forest, and the turkeys would follow him.  It was a beautiful show.  I'd rather die than eat meat.  The show that came on after that one was about ducks.  They are wonderful animals too.  I'm so disappointed that a show like Duck Dynasty is a big hit.  These jerks got rich by helping people kill ducks.  It makes me sick that they would become so popular and successful.  Ducks are cute, they don't hurt us, and people have every advantage when they hunt them.  I once saw a piece on the news.  There were a bunch of ducklings on the roof of a store or restaurant on the street of a small town.  They wanted to get down, but they were scared.  They were jumping, and a man was catching them.  He used a ladder to get onto the roof to gather the ducks who were too afraid to jump.  Then he stopped traffic as he led the ducks through town to a pond, where they safely jumped into the water.  It's one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen.  That man, to me, is a real hero.  The jerks from Duck Dynasty are villains.  The third show was about deer.  I think hunting season just recently began.  I love to hear stories about hunters getting shot.  When hunters get shot, they get what they deserve.  If you grab a gun and try to kill living beings, then you deserve whatever violence comes back your way.  He who lives by the sword will die by the sword.  Adults who shoot at living creatures deserves to be shot at as well.  That's how I feel about it.
