Current Online Dating Profile

REALLY frustrated w/this at this point. 1st of all, i ain't stupid, so don't even try to scam me. ask me for $, & i'll report you i refuse to support animal cruelty (buy meat, egg, dairy, leather, etc). that means for me, you, ANYONE. I'm sure i don't want to have kids. i'm not an optimist; i'm a realist. i don't care to be a conformer. i have my own mind. it's sad, but i find that women are more likely to judge me when it comes to how much of a loser i am (i work full-time, but i don't have a prestigious job, & i don't make a lot of $. if that's a prob, i'm def not interested in you) as opposed to my morals & values, which i'm proud of my experience is, if women are considering dating me, they will interrogate/judge me: fine. i will be brutally honest, because there's no point in wasting time, nor do i want to be w/someone who's obsessed w/$, status, because that's so typical. BTW, i AIN'T a sugar daddy, & i ain't gonna be 1

Date Chat (continued)

her (in quotes): "The world has good things in it too. How about music and art?"
me (not): i know it does. But it's little consultation for many. Suicide is the 10th leading cause of death. I love music, but i can be quite miserable while listening to it. life is hard. life is pain. so why are there 7.7 billion of us? those are the 2 most backward things about society to me. it's socially acceptable to perpetrate/support animal cruelty & bring people into a very messed-up world, & that most people do these things. belief in god as well, but that's a distant 3rd for me. the 1st 2 bother me everyday: multiple times a day. I also think it's stupid & dangerous to ride motorcycles in traffic & climb mountains like Everest. I think it's stupid to get tattoos

"Tell me about the daily sacrifices that you make for the sake of animals."

That seems confrontational. when you DON"T eat whatever you want, EVERYDAY, when you refuse to support animal cruelty, that is a sacrifice. i get the message out on Twitter. i receive emails asking me to take action, sign petitions, contact elected reps & i do. i spent a lot of time & effort writing an "animal liberation" book https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ZSHNT5I & if you are judging me, i'll remind you what i said about not caring at all what people think about me. after all, i did not ask for this existence. my parents forced it on me, which i've never done to someone

"I didn't mean to be confrontational. I'm wondering what you could do that would be a sacrifise. Those things that mention are things that you do, but they don't seem like a sacrifice. I think of sacrifice as you giving up something for their benefit. Does that mean that you really love eating meat and not eating it is a sacrifice for you? I was vegan for many years and I didn't ever consider it to be a sacrifice."
if i didn't care about animals, i'd be eating bacon cheeseburgers. i don't like veggies. it is a sacrifice. doesn't everyone like pizza? i haven't bought it since 2002
"I didn't eat any of that stuff for about 15 years and it was no big deal."
i guess it was because you went back to eating it

"There are soilders who fall on bombs to save their comrades. There was a mass shooting in New Zealand recently and an unarmed student rushed the shooter to let others get away. Those are sacrifices. Not eating a burger is nothing."
is that how you want your son/daughter to go out? wonderful world you brought them into, right? all these mass shootings, terrorist attacks, tons of other assorted violence, &, of course, nasty, judgmental people
"My son sitting here reading this with me tells me that he is very happy to be alive."
will he be when he's 85 & a weak (body & mind), pain-ridden mess?

Probably the End

I thought i'd heard the last from the woman I went on 2 dates with, then she messaged me again. I read this (from her) today:
"My attraction to someone develops through feeling a connection with them. I don't know yet if that will happen with you."
my reply:
i'm not someone who's driven by the pursuit of $, greed & selfishness. what people think about me, their judgements, it doesn't matter to me. I do my best to not support animal cruelty, & i've never gotten a woman pregnant. you may as well know sooner than later (she's procreated twice) that I think it's cruel for people to bring people or animals into a world that is so obviously cold, cruel, brutal, & dangerous. You seem intelligent, so I don't need to list all the problems with this world. the news does that everyday anyway. so i am proud of the way i've lived my life. I'm a merciful person who makes sacrifices everyday for the sake of animals. & if people don't appreciate me for who i am, then I'm not interested in them.

Contempt

Image result for contempt
I find it very difficult to live in this society, because I have contempt for
-mentally-competent adults that selfishly support animal cruelty by buying meat, leather, fur, etc.
-mentally-competent adults that have procreated
-mentally-competent adults that have brought animals into this world
-mentally-competent adults that spend a lot of time with their faces in their smartphones.
So, once again, obviously, I am not targeting children or the mentally disabled.  I get along with the sorts of people I have just mentioned, mostly because I have to.  I get along quite well with a coworker who eats meat and has kids.  I like her.  Interestingly, we were talking one day, and she admitted, unsolicited, that life is shitty.  Do you regret having kids?  That's the question I wanted to ask but didn't.  I need to do whatever I need to do to get through the day at work.  If I hated, and scowled at, all my coworkers that eat meat, have procreated, and have their faces in their phones every chance they get, I'd be hated.  I have no friends, so I need to try to get along with my coworkers as well as I can.  But whenever I see them eating meat, or hear them talking about their favorite meat dishes, I can feel the contempt bubbling up inside me.  Likewise when I see them with (or hear them talking about) their kids.  Seeing them with their faces in their phones reminds me of the contempt too.
So, again, leaving it all for the wilderness seems like a good idea.  I wouldn't have to be around people I have contempt for.  But the same issues come to mind: bugs bugging me, lack of heat, showers, and toilet paper.  It seems like I can't win.

DO SOMETHING!

Image result for animal cruelty
Be on the RIGHT side of animal cruelty!  Fight it!  It is wrong to be cruel to animals!  So far, despite how angry many of us are about animal cruelty, animal activists have proven that they are not mass shooters and terrorists.  Some have been called terrorists, because they have liberated animals from cruel experimental labs, but that's bullshit.  Animal activists certainly aren't terrorists like those who perpetrated 9/11, the attack in Paris that killed 130, or all those assholes who thought it was a good idea to run people over with vehicles.
It needs to be a war of words.  Fight it!  Confront those who are cruel to animals!  Far too many of them are getting away with it.  They support cruelty to animals over and over again, their entire life, and no one even makes them feel badly about it: bullshit!  "I only eat chicken."  What the fuck do you have against chickens?!  What have they ever done to you?!  Why don't you care about them?  Don't you see how small and vulnerable they are compared to humans?  Don't you see how wrong it is to exploit, torture, and murder them?!  People that support animal cruelty AT LEAST deserve to be confronted in such a way!
Don't give them a pass!  On dating websites, when I contact a woman, sometimes they check out my profile, which mentions how I feel about animals, and they respond by saying something like, "I don't know if I'm right for you.  I eat meat."  I NEVER say it's okay, because it isn't!  Supporting animal cruelty is heinous!  I'm 99.9% sure I'd be better off with a dog or a cat than a girlfriend anyway (No offense, ladies.  I like animals more than men too.  Besides, you're not missing out.  I'm not young or tall.  I'm bald, and I ain't successful.).  You see, animals aren't JUDGEMENTAL (Though sometimes they let you know that you haven't given them enough treats!).  They don't criticize (at least not lucidly).  They don't talk too much.  And, most importantly, they might eat meat if you gave it to them, but they don't KNOWINGLY support a vicious system that cruelly exploits, enslaves, and murders peaceful, innocent animals on a massive scale EVERY FUCKING DAY!!!
I love animals so much, and I'm so sad for them.  Please help them.

Thoughtless Cruelty

Image result for animal cruelty
I think about animals lots of times every day.  As I've mentioned before, I'm constantly being reminded of animal cruelty and how many people are contributing to it with the choices they make.  It's a big problem for the animals (and those of us that care about them) that people are being thoughtlessly cruel to them all the time.
I wouldn't buy leather: period.  I see people wearing all sorts of leather garments.  I imagine them in the shoe stores.  I suppose leather is a thing to them: a material.  In the shoe store, they probably aren't thinking of it as the dead skin of a tortured, enslaved animal who had been innocent and peaceful.  I suppose they aren't thinking that, if they purchase those leather shoes, they will be supporting violence against cows.
It's the same with meat.  It's a thing: a food.  I suppose those that purchase it aren't thinking it's the dead, tortured flesh of an innocent animal that suffered for the sake of the consumer's palate.  I recently called animal cruelty, especially that which is highly-organized and institutionalized, "the worst conspiracy" in a post here.  It really is.  It's billions of people (currently-I shudder to think how many people over the course of human history have contributed to animal cruelty) getting together and essentially saying, "Sure, what we're doing to animals is horrible, and unnecessary, but, if you do it, and act like you're not doing anything wrong, then I will too."
I'm sickened by animal cruelty.  It contributes to my depression, which is nothing compared to the suffering that thoughtlessly cruel people are supporting whenever they buy meat, leather, fur, etc.

Broken Links

Image result for mother and son
My father is a broken link.  He hasn't been a father to me.  He left my mother and I when I was 2 years old.  He didn't teach me how to use tools, how to build stuff, how to fix things, how to throw a baseball, how to throw a football, how to fight, how to be a man; though he couldn't teach me how to be a man, because he isn't a man, and he never will be.  I've complained more about my mother here than my father.  The reason is that my mother attempts to be in my life.  She repeatedly reminds me of her and how she brought me into this world of pain, misery, and death.  I haven't heard from my father since I was a teen (a long time ago).  Did he ever care about me?  And, if so, then for how long?  Certainly not long.  No, I am just the physical manifestation of a big mistake he made.
I work in a national hardware store, which is sort of ironic, because I know so little about building and fixing stuff.  I suppose that is why I have remained a cashier, even though I could conceivably transfer to another area in the store.  I've heard about how customers react when they feel as though my coworkers don't know enough about the areas they are covering.  So it's strange to be surrounded by all these people who build and fix stuff regularly; for lots of them, that's what their job entails.
I mentioned the regular customer, who I thought was a nice guy, and he is, but he likes to brag about his money.  He told me a little story, in which he mentioned his $150,000 car.  Doesn't he realize that, as a cashier, I can't afford a car like that?  Does he enjoy rubbing his money into the faces of those who don't have as much as he does?  Bragging about money is like school on Sunday: no class.  How did he learn how to use tools and build and fix stuff?  Perhaps from his father.  So you see the difference between a boy whose father taught him things and a boy whose father taught him nearly nothing.
In fact, the more I talk to customers at work, the more likely they are to start bragging about their money.  Money is what matters more than anything in this shitty society.  It is why animals are treated so horribly.  It is all too common for them to not get the medical care they need, because that would cost money, so, as a result, they suffer.  It is also why animals like pigs and chickens are crammed into small spaces, many of them not getting enough space to walk at all; it's cost-effective.
So, as a result of not knowing how to build and fix stuff, the thought of being a homeowner is a daunting one.  Therefore, for the foreseeable future, I don't se myself buying a house (not that I could afford one anyway), so I'll continue to live in apartments, and hearing my neighbors will continue to make me miserable.

The Ultimate Sacrifice

Image result for self-immolation monk
I make sacrifices for animals.  I haven't eaten exactly what I have wanted to since 2002.  I used to like the taste of pizza, burgers, and bacon.  I don't refuse to buy non-vegan foods because I love veggies or because I'm a health nut.  I certainly don't want to live forever.  I do it for the health, and well being, of animals.
I hate cooking, eating, pooping, pissing, and living.  All I want to do is write, create, and enjoy other people's creative works: good movies, TV shows, music, and books.  But I can't support myself with my writing.  I need a boring, soul-destroying menial job to pay my bills.
What did the monks achieve when they protested the Vietnam War through self immolation?  Who knows, but their actions will live forever as long as human civilization exists.  For example, one of my favorite bands, Rage Against the Machine, put the image of one of these monks, fully engulfed in flames, on the cover of their debut album.
I have thought about combining my wanting to die with my desire to help animals.  Inspired by the monks I just mentioned, I have considered setting myself on fire to protest animal cruelty.  I'm at least 99.9% sure I'll never do that.  I don't mind dying before I'm elderly (to say the least), but I don't want to go out with that sort of pain.  I don't want to burn my little finger, let alone my whole body.  It's not what mama's little baby deserves.  I have also thought about a hunger strike to protest animal cruelty.  I could begin posting video online and say that I won't eat until animal cruelty is wiped out completely or every single person in the world is at least a vegetarian (preferably vegan).  Regardless, it would be a virtually impossible goal, because animal cruelty is so prevalent, so socially acceptable; the situation is so incredibly dire, so far away from where I want it to be, where I think it should be.  So the world wouldn't change as much as I wanted it to, certainly not in the time I needed it to, so, assuming I was able to do it, I would starve to death online.  Again, 99.9% sure I won't do this.  As someone who has spent plenty of time being depressed and suicidal, I have done quite a bit of research when it comes to ways to kill oneself.  I read that starving yourself to death is a very painful way to go, and I believe it.
I feel the need to mention that I am not advocating anyone do these things at all whatsoever.  After all, it is extremely unlikely that I would do them.  These are just thoughts.  I'm only expressing myself, which is something I feel the need to do.  I may take my own life one day, but, if I do, I will try to avoid pain as much as possible.  If you are passionate about defending animals, the best thing to do is to remain ALIVE, so you will be able to continue to fight for them.  You won't be able to do anything when you're dead.

Hotsy-Totsy!

Image result for hotsy totsy
Oh, you're such a hotsy-totsy, aren't you?  I couldn't possibly fuck you, could I?  Of course not!  I'm not tall enough, too old, too bald, too much of a loser.  But here's the thing; you poop, and that's gross!  Yuck!  Yucky wucky!  Yucky poo poo!  There's poop inside you right now!  What's that, hotsy-totsy?  You don't need to poop?  It doesn't matter!  You have tubes inside you that are ALWAYS coated with poop!  Rancid poop!  Double gross!  And you eat meat, dead, rotting animal flesh, which is also gross (and cruel).  You should be so happy that anyone would want to have sex with your poopy ass, but no!  You're choosy!  Choosy woosy!
What's that?  I poop too?  Unfortunately, you are correct.  Yes, I'm gross too; believe me, I know.  That's my point.  We're both gross, so let's be disgusting together!  No?  Oh, well, I tried.

A Lesser Conspiracy

Image result for atheist
A day off from work (one day off after working six straight days, then back to work tomorrow), and, once again, there are all these options and choices to make.  There are two books I could work on.  I could try to promote Veganman (Which has, as they say, a niche: in this case, people who are angry about animal cruelty.), which is here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ZSHNT5I
But it's Sunday, which means that two of the radio stations I listen to regularly, because they play no commercials, will play gospel music, which I hate.  I'm sure I don't hate all gospel music, just the sort they play, because it's overtly religious.  In fact, in my massive music collection, I have both satanic and Christian metal.  I just care about how it sounds; I don't care about the lyrical content; as long as it isn't anti-animal.  And of course I wouldn't support a satanic band that had been cruel to animals (beyond the usual meat eating and leather wearing).  In fact, years ago, when I was reading reviews to decide which metal CD I was going to buy next, I came across a band called Pig Destroyer.  Based on what I had read, I was very interested in their album, Terrifyer.  The name of the band bothered me, though.  If it was about the pigs (the animals) then I wouldn't buy any of their stuff.  I tried to find out why they named their band that.  I finally found it in an interview.  One of the band members said they wanted to call it Cop Destroyer, but decided against it, because it was a little too extreme (Their music is quite extreme.).  Once I read that, I was all clear to buy the album, which is great.  I don't advocate destroying cops, but at least they know what they're getting into with that job, and they are given training, support, and weapons with which to defend themselves, whereas pigs have virtually no protection from bloodthirsty, meat-eating humans.
But I digressed.  The lesser, compared to animal cruelty and procreation, conspiracy is religion.  I call it a lesser conspiracy, because I'm much less passionate about this issue than I am about the other two, though religion is certainly responsible for its share of death and destruction.  God was created out of fear and ignorance.  The more time passes, the less need we have for god, because it should be obvious that there's no big guy in the sky who has our backs, and science gradually reduces our ignorance about worldly matters.
Belief in god is one of the three obvious (to me) things that society is backwardly wrong about.  Socially acceptable animal cruelty and procreation are the others.  The only good excuses for believing in god are being a child, being stupid, or having a mental illness.  Religion is ridiculous.  In thousands of years of human existence, there is no proof that god exists: not a shred.  People, perhaps, have been dead for a few minutes and come back to life.  But has anybody been dead OVERNIGHT (like Jesus) and come back to life?  In addition to the reasons just mentioned, I think believing in this shit means one is either chickenshit or a follower.  Some believe because they are following others.  Some believe because they can't handle life without the big guy in the sky "protecting" them.
Some lie about believing.  In America, you need to say you believe in god in order to be elected president of the country, which I think is obviously backward.  If you believe in imaginary friends, then that's a very good reason why you SHOUDLN'T be president of a country.  I resent my mother forcing me to go to church every week when I was a kid.  I consider it to be brainwashing.  "Try to put belief in god into them when they're young:" an insidious plan.  The way I see it, in church, I was surrounded by adults who were, in addition to the backwards believers, liars.  Of course, it is widely acceptable for parents to lie to their children.  It is customary for them to lie about (spoiler alert!) Santa Claus, the tooth fairy, and the Easter bunny.  In fact, many parents would be very angry if I told the TRUTH to their young children about Santa Claus.  How dare you tell the truth to my child!  How dare you expose my lie!  It's just another example of how backwards this society is.
Belief in god is a sort of drug.  It's a break from reality, which is what drugs offer (but don't really deliver).  It is insulting to me that, because I have depression, I'm considered to be mentally ill, but someone who believes that there is an all-powerful guy with a beard hanging out in the clouds isn't.  It makes sense to be depressed.  Watch the news.  Go to your shitty job.  It doesn't make sense to believe in nonsense.  Once again, backward.
God, if you really exist, then prove it to me.  I work with a beautiful young woman that I would love to fuck (If you exist, then you know who I mean.).  If she asks me out and tells me that she loves me, and, if I come home from work to find $100 billion dollars in my apartment, then I will believe in you.  Deal?

Fuck Social Media!

Image result for fuck social media
Yes, I'm on Facebook & Twitter; I admit it!  But what have they gotten me?  Facebook has probably hurt me.  That is where I reconnected with my aforementioned frenemy, who, as a bad influence, convinced me to go back to drinking and smoking weed regularly, even though I told him right from the start that I didn't want to rekindle those old, self-destructive habits.  That cost me a lot of money and brain cells.  It also led to me being arrested for the first time!  Thanks, Facebook frenemy!  I take full responsibility for my actions, but I'm 99.9% sure I wouldn't have gone back to drinking and smoking weed regularly, and have gotten arrested, without my frenemy's influence.  If I ever get into a no-holds-barred argument with him, I'll try to remember to ask him if he's taught his teenage daughter yet that you can't have fun without drugs and alcohol.
I joined Facebook and Twitter (and began blogging) when I read a book about getting one's writing published.  The authors of the book suggested that, in this (good-for-nothing) modern society, one needs to utilize social media to promote one's writing, so that explains that.  But, even though I have written 3 books, Veganman (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ZSHNT5I), American Loser (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HQSO9RO) & Farts and Literature (featuring Bald D-Bag) (https://www.amazon.com/Farts-Literature-featuring-Bald-D-Bag-ebook/dp/B074MCFPVD/ref=sr_1_2?s=digita), that I think are good, I am not a successful writer (not even close).
I have tweeted a lot of tweets about animal cruelty (https://twitter.com/TheBaldVegan).  It can be a good way to express oneself.  But what has all this tweeting accomplished?  NOTHING!  It's still socially acceptable for BILLIONS of people to needlessly, and selfishly, support animal cruelty by buying meat, leather, fur, etc.
Facebook and Twitter (Even the names are shit.) are colossal time wasters.  I don't waste as much time with them as most people probably do, because I don't have a smartphone.  I suppose F & T are what these morons are looking at most of the time: or Instagram, Snapchat, etc.; it's all SHIT!  Fuck social media!  Fuck life in this worthless modern society!  I have fallen into these traps a little bit.  Has anyone liked or retweeted my tweet?  Has anyone liked what I put up on Facebook?  I have checked.  I just did it a few seconds ago!  The result: no new likes or retweets (what I deserve for taking the time to check something so pathetic).  People taking, and posting, selfies makes me sick!  Even just the word "selfie" makes my skin crawl.  It says so much about what's wrong with this society that there's this very commonly-used word that's all about people using their goddamn smartphones to take pictures of themselves to put onto worthless, time-wasting social media.  I'm sorry.  Did I say it was worthless?  Hell, no!  Not to stalkers and perverts.  I'm sure they have used social media to their advantage.  At least one person used Craigslist to commit a murder.  Does anyone doubt that predators have used dating websites to commit rape?
I woke up this morning to see that someone unfollowed me on my jokey Twitter account (https://twitter.com/TheBaldDBag), which has been a total fucking failure!  I had hoped that it would generate interest in my comedic book, Farts and Literature.  NOT ONE PERSON HAS BOUGHT IT.  MY LIFE IS A SHITTY JOKE.  You come up with some good jokes, you put them out there, and hardly anyone gives a fuck, because there are TOO MANY PEOPLE IN THE WORLD: all desperate for attention.  Who needs this shit?  It's garbage!  By the way, of course I returned the favor and unfollowed the prick.

Pros & Cons

Image result for pros and cons
Pros & Cons lists can be helpful.  I have made them before.  As I have mentioned, I am indecisive, so such lists can help me make decisions.  This one is about relationships.
Cons-
There are at least several cons associated with being in a relationship with a woman.  Since this recently happened, I will address it now; this weakened, debris (I think they were bricks.) fell off a truck in front of me.  I believe my car ran over at least one brick as a result.  I have told myself that I should avoid driving behind cars or trucks that are carrying stuff, because stuff is always falling off such vehicles and onto the road, but I suppose I thought I was far enough behind this truck: obviously not.  Any moron can load a truck with stuff, but many of them won't do it properly, and will put other drivers at risk as a result.  I checked my car, but there seems to be no damage.  I got most of the license plate number of the truck and called 911 anyway.  The point of this in regards to a relationship is that a relationship means going out more, which leads to more driving.  All sorts of horrible things can happen when we drive: accidents, hitting animals, dealing with road rage, etc.
One of the biggest cons associated with being in a relationship is not being able to be who I am.  I am real.  Using the woman that wants to go on a date with me as an example, as I mentioned, she only keeps her "positive" friends.  I'm not "positive;" I'm real.  I don't' consider myself to be a pessimist; I prefer the term "realist."  As a matter of fact, I've already thought of so many cons here, that I think I shouldn't be phony with her at all.  I shouldn't hide who I am at all from her (or any potential girlfriend), because it could just result in wasted time.
That's the next con: wasted time.  Perhaps my time would be better spent writing, or reading, than being with a woman.  There is a finite amount of time in one's life to create.  Should I allow a woman to chip away at that?
Wasted money is another con.  I come from a very thrifty family.  I like to save money.  I don't' like to spend it.  I pretty much only spend it on necessities.  I don't want to spend it on a woman.
As I've mentioned, I think sex is disgusting.  That being said, I'm a human animal that is hardwired to want it, and I do.  The vaj is only a few inches away from the bunghole, which is so gross.  Women poop, and that is disgusting.  I know, I poop too, and I fully admit I'm disgusting.  Making out is gross: exchanging saliva with someone.
I love metal.  I have to be able to listen to it.  Most people, especially women, don't' like metal.
She looks good in the picture, but the woman who asked me out recently is lying in some grass in one of her photos.  My thoughts eventually went to Lyme disease, which I recently wrote about here.  Did she check herself for ticks after lying in the grass?  Lying in the grass is basically an invitation for ticks to bite into your flesh.  I will have to talk to her about ticks and Lyme disease if things progress between us, because I don't want her to transfer a Lyme-disease-ridden tick to me.
I have mentioned here that I am a slob.  I hate to clean, and I only do approximately the minimum amount of it.  If she came over and saw my apartment the way it is now, she would probably lose interest in me immediately.  So I would have to clean for her, which is both a pro and con.  I'm not happy with the filthiness of my home, so if she inspired me to do extra cleaning, that would be a good thing.  On the other hand, it seems like I'm content to be a lazy slob.
I'd have to do more laundry, and I hate it.  I'm content to wear dirty clothes, as long as I think people won't smell them (I admitted that I'm disgusting.).
The woman who asked me out eats meat, and that is a big problem.  Should I compromise who I am as I vie for nookie?  She suggested that we go to a vegetarian restaurant, and it is good that she is sensitive to the issue.  But anyone who knows this blog knows I am very passionate about this issue.  I am willing to get into a very loud argument about it, because, again, it is simply wrong to support animal cruelty by buying meat and leather.
The woman who asked me out also has kids.  Again, people who know this blog know how I feel about procreation.  So, you see, I'm concerned about all the things that she wouldn't like about ME, when I, quite frankly, have 2 very important issues with her (and many people).

Pros-
For some reason, when the dating website I frequent sends me an email with potential matches for me, I look at it, and I contact some of them.  I suppose I wouldn't do that if I didn't want to be with a woman.
Companionship is important, and aside from talking to coworkers a little, I don't have it in my life.
Touching is important, and aside from petting dogs a little at work, I don't have it in my life.
They say these things are quite necessary when it comes to combatting depression.
