Everyday, Acceptable Evil

Image result for farm animal cruelty
Today, as I was browsing Twitter, looking to return the likes and retweets of those who had liked and retweeted things I wrote on my "animal liberation" twitter account, which is here: https://twitter.com/TheBaldVegan ,I saw horrible images of animals suffering at the hands of humans.  I had seen such images before, of course; it's why I became a vegan.  Nevertheless, they are horrible images.  One video bothered me especially.  It showed a chick hung upside down by her feet: moving along in a factory-like setting.  I've seen stuff like that before: chicks on conveyor belts: literally being treated like they are things: not living, breathing earthlings.  Not only are they treating animals like that; they are baby animals!!!  Evil!!!
When people treat animals horribly, it is evil.  That's the right word.  We have every advantage over them.  They are the underdogs.  It is the same thing as a large man imprisoning, beating, and torturing a tiny, young child repeatedly: with no relief.  Animals like pigs, cows, and chickens are helpless against evil people.  They only have the rights we choose to give to them.  Pets get some (not enough), and "food" animals get nearly none.  If people knew about the Holocaust and supported it financially, there'd be no question that they were evil.  They'd be tried as war criminals, and they'd probably be executed.  But that's what meat eaters routinely do.  Every time they buy meat, they support the holocaust against animals.  They support heinous animal cruelty.  And it's so acceptable, that many of them don't even feel badly about it.
I mentioned here that a couple of coworkers wanted to have dinner with me.  I said okay, but only if they agreed to at least eat vegetarian that meal.  They refused indignantly.  How dare I ask them to eat vegetarian for one meal!  That's completely unreasonable!  I certainly wasn't willing to compromise my principles, so I didn't join them.  At work, I have to be around people that are eating meat.  I refuse to do it in my free time.
Even though it happened years ago, I still recall this incident when I went out to eat with some coworkers.  One of them ordered a meat dish, but he didn't finish it.  He left a pile of beef on his plate.  It didn't bother him at all that the flesh was going to be tossed into the trash.  He was smiling, laughing, and having a great time.  That really bothered me.  I think people eating meat is wrong, but I despise when they waste it.  It is so disrespectful to the suffering the animals, that were the source of that meat, were forced to endure.
I'm not popular.  I have no friends.  There are plenty of coworkers I don't talk to.  Why should I?  They eat meat with smiles on their faces.  I saw a coworker dancing while he was eating chicken: so disrespectful.  They contribute to the suffering of animals without a second thought.  They are evil.
And the literary expression of my anger, depression, and frustration about animal crutelty is Veganman, which is here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ZSHNT5I

Unpunished Crimes

Image result for farm animal cruelty
As my neighbors have been forcing me to smell the tortured flesh of animals cooking for hours now, I realized that there have been countless unpunished crimes committed against animals.  If one hired a hitman to kill one's wife or husband, the law deems that to be a serious crime that should be punished accordingly.  But that's exactly what people are doing when they buy meat.  They are paying someone to kill animals.  It should be a crime: a serious one.  However, the way animals are treated, like in factory farms, before they are murdered makes it a far worse crime than hiring a hitman to kill a person.  At least the victim of a hitman is free to live their life the way they want to before they are murdered.  Animals are confined, and treated, very cruelly prior to their murders.
What's even worse is extreme cruelty against animals is so commonplace, that these meat-eating monsters don't even think they're doing anything wrong.  The animals they eat, and, by extension, terrorize, must mean absolutely nothing to them.  They're out of sight and out of mind.  As long as I'm not being treated like that, I don't care.  Maybe that's what they're thinking, if they're even thinking anything about the animals they're killing.  They throw meat in the trash without a second thought.  I don't know if there will ever be an antidepressant powerful enough to allow me to be content to live in a world that's full of sociopaths.

Meat Eaters Are Nazis

Image result for animal cruelty
People who buy meat and leather are quite similar to Nazis.  It's very easy to walk into a store and purchase such items (Apparently all too easy on the perpetrator's conscience as well, that is, if they even have consciences.), but when one does so, one supports the ongoing, horribly widespread animal holocaust, which, unfortunately for the affected animals, doesn't seem to have an end in sight, because there are far too many people who, instead of not caring about Jews, don't care about animals like chickens, cows, turkeys, and pigs (to name only a few species).  Second-World-War concentration camps are quite similar to factory farms.  Both of them contain(ed) pain, suffering, violence, horrible conditions, slim to none medical treatment for their victims, an obvious lack of concern for the victims' well being, and, of course, murder.
I'd rather not be similar to a Nazi.  You're either part of the solution or part of the problem.  There is no middle ground.

Smiling Monsters

Image result for smiling people
Smiling monsters are everywhere.  I see them everyday.  Smiling monsters are mentally-competent adult meat eaters that have access to money.  Many of them think that they are wonderful people, because they are well-liked by other humans.  They care about themselves and maybe some other people.  But they don't care about animals, with the possible exception of pets.  Though many smiling monsters have abandoned pets without a second thought.  Why make sacrifices for animals when they can't do anything for you?  This is how the selfish monsters live.  When they buy meat, they support the houses of horrors that are factory farms and slaughterhouses, where unspeakably horrible things happen to animals.  As far as I'm concerned, it is the same (or worse) as paying a hitman to murder a human.  It is evil.  It is despicable.  And since so many people are committing the same crimes against animals regularly, their consciences don't seem to bother them at all.
I wish I could make these monsters disappear.  The world would be a better place without them.  I wish I could see their names and occupations listed on a computer screen, and I could just click on them and make them disappear that way.  I'd get rid of nonessential meat eaters first (criminals, terrorists, the unemployed).  Then I'd weed out more nonessentials.  We'd need some of them to keep this society going, or maybe we should just go back to natural living, since this society is shit.
